Impact & Sustainable Development Goals

Our Commitment to Measurable Impact

Tokidz Cares is committed to creating real, measurable change for underprivileged children and young people in Zambia.

We believe impact should be intentional, transparent, and grounded in the realities of the communities we serve. That’s why our programs are aligned with global development frameworks and supported by clear indicators that track progress over time.

Aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals

Tokidz Cares contributes directly to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by addressing education, wellbeing, equity, and opportunity through locally led initiatives.

Primary SDGs

  • SDG 4 – Quality Education
Removing barriers to learning by providing education resources and support that enable consistent school participation.

  • SDG 3 – Good Health & Wellbeing
Supporting physical wellbeing, dignity, and confidence through hygiene and period care initiatives.

  • SDG 8 – Decent Work & Economic Growth
Creating pathways beyond school through skills development, future community-based initiatives and learning hubs.

How We Measure Impact

Tokidz Cares tracks impact across our holistic education ecosystem by focusing on access, wellbeing, engagement, and opportunity.

Our approach combines quantitative data (numbers reached, packs delivered, programs run), and qualitative insights (stories, feedback, lived experiences), ensuring measurement is ethical, realistic, and meaningful.

Our Approach to Measurement

Tokidz Cares prioritises responsible and transparent impact tracking.

  • Combine quantitative indicators with qualitative stories

  • Continuously refine our approach as programs grow

This ensures our work remains accountable while respecting the dignity and lived experiences of the children and communities we serve.

Why This Matters

By aligning with the SDGs and tracking impact across education, care, and opportunity, Tokidz Cares ensures every initiative contributes to long-term, systems-level change, not short-term relief.
